Our China Business Department advised our client, a Hong Kong based logistics group, to merge its Hamburg operations with a local company. This deal, executed through a share exchange involving four operational entities in Germany, was intensively supported by Oracle lawyers.
Our client provides a comprehensive range of logistics services from China to Europe, including air, sea, and rail freight, custom services, security screening, warehousing, airport ground handling, bonded warehousing, forwarding, trucking, and last-mile distribution. Our client has branch offices in France, Germany, and Italy, with their European head office located in Paris, which is the direct contracting party of this merger.
Through this merger, our client strengthened their industry position and expanded their market share in Germany. Concurrently, the counterpart’s operating companies received financial support post-closing.
We thank our client for their trust and wish them continued success in Europe.
